CatholicCare Tasmania is an 85% stakeholder in Centacare Evolve Housing. They deliver a range of support programs that respond to the needs of individuals, families and the community, regardless of background or circumstance. Centacare Evolve Housing manages CatholicCare Tasmania’s affordable housing portfolio. We partner with CatholicCare Tasmania to provide on-site counselling in our Bridgewater office.
Centacare Evolve Housing, through its relationship with CatholicCare Tasmania, is a work of the Catholic Archdiocese of Hobart and an expression of the social mission of the Church. The Archdiocese provides centralised business services that support Centacare Evolve Housing’s day to day work.
Evolve Housing is based in New South Wales and is a 15% stakeholder in Centacare Evolve Housing and one of Australia’s leading Community Housing Providers (CHPs), managing over 4,000 social and affordable housing properties.
St Joseph Affordable Homes is a building and construction social enterprise of the Archdiocese of Hobart. Centacare Evolve Housing partners with St Joseph Affordable Homes to build many of our new homes. St Joseph Affordable Homes will provide trade apprenticeships in a range of construction areas, gained through an in-house apprenticeship and access to our Build Up Tassie program.
Housing Tasmania provides housing assistance for Tasmanians with low incomes and special needs. They directly provide some services and fund other organisation to deliver services on their behalf. Centacare Evolve Housing manages Housing Tasmania’s portfolio of public housing in the Brighton Municipality and we manage a number of grant programs funded by Housing Tasmania.
