Master Plan

The Bridgewater, Gagebrook and Herdsmans Cove Master Plan is a document for improving the liveability of those suburbs. The plan was developed in consultation with the local community, Brighton Council, government agencies and other service providers.

The Bridgewater Gagebrook and Herdsmans Cove Master Plan explains how land and housing can be developed for the enjoyment of residents. The plan provides ideas that improve parks and streets, and it also identifies opportunities for services that build life skills for people in the community. It is also based on research findings from studies of local households, education, employment, public and personal transport and health services. In short, the Master Plan looks at all aspects of life in Bridgewater, Gagebrook and Herdsmans Cove.

The Bridgewater, Gagebrook and Herdsmans Cover Master Plan won the Award for Excellence at the 2017 Awards for Planning Excellence awards of the Planning Institute Australia.
